Michelle MacNair

Michelle MacNair has very ably helmed Simply Elegant’s Catering division for the last three years and we will miss her greatly. She has been a dedicated member of the team and a strong, stable force in the office.

For those who don’t know, Michelle owned the Ship’s Lantern Resort Hotel, a Saskatchewan resort hotel that became known for an annual beach volley ball competition event organized for the regional university that would literally transform the property. She was also very active in the Saskatchewan Chef’s Association.

Those who worked with Michelle appreciated so many of the skills she had when it came to food – and wine. She is a trained Sommelier.

“One of Michelle’s many gifts is her ability to pair the perfect wine with any meal,” said Robert Vidra, Simply Elegant’s CEO. “Her nose and extensive knowledge combined to create many unique and special pairings that delighted our clients and their guests.”

We’ve all loved working with Michelle and wish her well as she moves on to her next adventure. Michelle, we’ll miss you terribly but are excited for you as you start this next chapter in your life and career.
